____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CTA is an e-waste collection company which collects used electronic gadgets such as laptops, mobile phones and many other items for recycling or remarketing (reuse). We welcome social or business organizations to work with us to collect electronic waste for recycling or remarketing. You have the final say on how to distribute the proceeds from the e-waste collection but most of our clients kindly share part of the funds with a charity organization of their choice. Work with us to generate value out of your e-waste while helping a charity and protecting the environment.
Upcoming Collection Campaign
Excerpts from our Managing Director's speech to Catholic High students on 19 Jan (secondary) and 21 Jan (primary): 1. We have plenty of e-waste at home but we are unaware of the best way to dispose them. 2. Disposing them in the trash bin will add stress to our incineration plants and landfill. 3. Selling them to the middlemen may end up contributing to the pollution in developing countries with primitive recycling methods. 4. Trading in the laptops may result in data security problem as information in the hard disk can be retrieved by experts. 5. Students are encouraged to donate their e-waste to the school on 27 and 28 Jan. The money will go to the school fund, class fund and charity. 6. CTA will collect the e-waste which will be recycled by its JV partner TES-AMM (Singapore) Pte Ltd - The largest e-waste recycling companyin Asia with state of art equipment. Data destruction will be done for laptops that can be repaired and reused. 7. The e-waste donation drive at Catholic High School is a meaningful project because it help families to declutter their home, save the environmant, conserve limited resources, help a charity, support the school and benefit the students directly through class funds. |
